One morning I decided to send a quick text to say hi and good morning to my friends and this is the response I got.

Ethan's 1st Birthday!

Well, my cute, adorable nephew, Ethan just recently had his first birthday! Its hard to believe he is a year old already. I unfortunatley couldn't make it, but my parents flew down to help celebrate. Here are a few pictures.

It came to my attention after posting about my graduation and trip home that I forgot a stop! A very IMPORTANT stop. After my graduation, I stayed in Tennessee for a couple of days with my good friend, Lisa!!! 

Lisa is one of those friends who always glad to see you......when you have a big ol' cup of coffee in your hand!!!  One thing I learned....don't pretend the coffee isn't for her! She doesn't really see the humor in that:(  

Over the past year, Lisa has been a real friend to me. She became my lunch buddy for most Tuesdays! I got her hooked on hockey and am looking forward to the upcoming season!! She can make some pretty incredible scrambled eggs too!

Anywho, she was kind enough to let me crash at her house for a couple days. I would like to say thank you Lisa for all you have done for me! Looking forward to seeing you again this fall!!

Memorial Day

Well, Memorial Day went very well. I slept in!!! Always a plus with me! I mowed the other half of the lawn and did a little weed whacking! It is much harder than mowing!
I went to Haley's house for FIRE!!! We were suppose to keep it small, but we can't help ourselves!!! Its always way to hot at first then it burns right down and its way to cold!!! Can never get close enough! We had a few small fireworks that we fooled around with throughout the night. It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to many more fires with my friends!

Quick Update!

Ok, I know it has been forever since I've updated my post, but please keep checking because I do hope to stay on top of it this summer. Of course, I'll have to find something to do every now and then to have something to write about.

May 4th, I graduated!!! Seems like I have been at school for forever!!! My nephew, Josiah, came over to see me graduated in screamed the entire time because he was so happy for me!!!

After graduation I started home, but stopped in SC to visit my cousin, Lynn, for a few days. We had a lot of fun out in the country fishing, fourwheeling, shooting, and visiting her horse, Lilly.

Then for my last stop, New Jersey! It was good to have a visit with my brother and his family. Brad was stationed there after joining the Air Force. This is my nephew, Ethan.

I am now home and already working! I help out in the imaging, loan, and deposit departments of Androscoggin Bank. It is fun, but a little busier as they are teaching me a lot of new things. Still cold here in Maine, but hopefully will start to warm up soon and also a short season of Black Flies.

The Walkers, traveling evangelist, were visiting our church this past weekend. Bro. Walker is a Cowboy Evangelist and they have a western carnival they use for a promotion. Sunday morning we had one of the highest attendances in the history of the church and 52 people made a proffession of faith. PRAISE THE LORD!

Josiah DeGeorge Love

Josiah DeGeorge Love was born 10:30 p.m. last Monday night. He weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 in. long. He and mom were able to come home by Friday and I was able to visit for a few hours on Saturday. He is so cute and I hope to be able to go for another visit soon!

It Was Good When Mom Maid Them!

So my mom makes these little cinnamon things out of pie crust that are really good. My friend Haley is obsessed with them! This year my mom never got around to making them and Haley was going through withdrawels. Haley came over the night before I left for college and we decided we were going to make them. We gathered our ingredients and started! We flattened, spread, covered and rolled them then popped them in the oven.

While we waited we played cribbage and of course I won! Unfortunatley after taking them out of the oven we realized they didn't look quite right and they definately didn't taste right. Mom said no one could possibly ruin this recipe, but of course we managed and did it quite well!!

Gingerbread Houses

Ok, so my mom decided to do the 12 days of Christmas with Nikki and I, but she only had 10 gifts so we did the 10 days of Christmas instead. To get our gifts we had to share a memory or whatever my mom wanted. We found out relaxing on the couches and watching a movie together doesn't count! Anyways, one night my mom came home with 2 gingerbread house kits and told us it was our project for the night. I don't know what made her think of it since we have never done them before, but wanting the gifts Nikki and I started right away. Here are the final results.
